Norm King Construction is a subcontractor working primarily in Northeast Ohio providing masonry services in industries such as commercial, retail, industrial, religious, healthcare, education, multi-housing complexes, mixed used building and governmental. We have completed over 400 projects and have 100+ years of combined experience in working with General Contractors, Construction Managers, Owners and Architects. We truly believe masonry is an excellent building solution that is efficient, cost effective, flexible and cutting edge. We offer expertise in value engineering ideas in the pre bid phase of projects as well as during construction with our extensive understanding of mason materials, wall options, use of vertical and horizontal reinforcing and use of masonry lintels. These ideas can make a project built with masonry cost effective and efficient. Every project brings its own unique characteristics. Construction Description: Apartment Building, 181,000 sf, (5) story, 118 units built using cast stone base with norman brick exterior façade, (3) story elevator and stairwell shafts starting on the second floor precast deck.

Circle North

Cleveland, Ohio

Construction Description: Mixed use and apartment complex, 55,000 sf, (3) story building using 35,000 utility brick and 4,000 burnish groundface CMU base, (2) CMU stair shafts and one elevator shaft 38’ high.

Hamilton Elementary School

Elyria, Ohio

Construction Description: Elementary school building, 70,000 sf, (2) story, load bearing masonry with utility brick veneer and numerous interior bearing and nonbearing CMU walls including elevator and stairwell shafts.

St. Albert ’s Parish Life Center

North Royalton, Ohio

Construction Description: Parish Life Center building, 25,000 sf, with modular brick veneer featuring unique stone veneer soldier bond. Relocated and restored limestone statues from existing offices to new Parish Life Center. NAIOP Award of Excellence nominee.

West Bay Plaza & Redevelopment

Construction Description: New addition of retail space, 15,000 sf, built with a mixture of load bearing 12” smooth architectural cmu, modular brick, simulated stone, cast stone and thin brick veneers.

Cloverleaf Stadium

Cloverleaf, Ohio

Construction Description: New concession stand, ticket booth and restroom buildings, 5000 sf using 8” CMU load bearing masonry with utility brick veneer. Featuring several masonry entrance piers into the stadium with cast stone copings and interior CMU bathrooms involving intricate masonry cuts and fittings.

UPS Facility

Middleburg Hts., Ohio

Construction Description: Production facility building addition, 21,000 sf, using 12” CMU 36’ high and utility brick veneer 10’ high. Extensive masonry demolition of new overhead doors in existing grouted CMU and toothing of new masonry to existing building.
