The History of
Norm King Construction, Inc.
Norm King Construction was started in 1971 by Norman King. Norm learned the technique of bricklaying and became a journeyman bricklayer in his mid 20’s. He started off doing small brick repairs and fireplaces while working as a firefighter for the City of Parma. He soon realized his love of masonry and began doing larger jobs such as basements and houses. He had proudly built his own brick home during that time.
In 1981 Norm King Construction was incorporated and became Norm’s full-time passion. Norm’s two sons Michael and David were introduced to bricklaying and laboring at a young age. As Mike and Dave took their own active interest in the company, Norm King Construction Inc. expanded into the larger commercial projects market. Soon after, Norm’s daughter Karen joined the company to support the financial operations of the company.
Today Norm King Construction projects include new, large and small, commercial, industrial and retail projects as well as stonework, existing building additions, repairs and restoration, fireplaces and brick mailboxes. We take pride and care in every job we perform no matter what size.
